The client represented a US state office of natural resources. Helped with gathering requirements around a required forecasting plug-in. Overseeing large conventional brown oilfields with long-term production data, the governing agency was struggling with balancing long- and short-term production trends and was concerned about ensuring an ability to audit prior forecasts. Helped deliver an OFM API based plug-in supporting modified bootstrap forecasting with backward analysis. Investigated the theoretical basis, reached out for programming help, performed studies with client data, and ensured a handover and documentation ahead of the initial schedule.
