My new role and responsibilities include:

Understand client briefs and actively contribute to the brainstorming and ideation process.
Design explorations for User Interfaces and Motion design.
Experience of User Experience planning, use case preparation, wire-frame development and story-boarding.
Create User Interface designs referencing latest platform innovation and technology advancements.
Provide guidance, reference and direction to team members.
Mentor junior designers & interns.
Ongoing communication with team to help manage concepts and deliver milestone objectives.
Participate in discussions on process and way of working improvement.
Contribute own ideas for internal projects and guidelines.
Play a major role in recruiting / interviewing design candidates.

Lead Designer

Set and Oversee the Creative Process.
Review and critique creatives before it goes to client.
Lead creative ideation, strategy and brainstorming internally and with clients.
Work closely with the business development and leadership teams to ideate and execute creative concepts, new opportunities, pitches and proposals.
Develop creative concepts and execute them into compelling designs and assets.
Present and explain the concepts, answer questions, communicate changes to team.
Manage client expectations with production team and deliver.
Lead multiple projects simultaneously depending on size and scope.
Establish art direction for UI/UX projects and ensure direction is retained throughout the whole production process.
Help with estimating budgets & planning schedules for key design projects.
Demonstrate high-level thinking beyond project execution.
Contribute to organizational learnings and process improvement.
Build relationships with existing clients.

Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
Analyze and identify pain points from the users’ perspective, based on your user research.
Create user stories, personas, storyboards and prototypes.
Determine information architecture and create sitemaps.
Prototype designs, which can range from simple paper sketches to high-fidelity and interactive digital mock-ups.
Conduct usability and user tests to determine if design can be further improved.
